Airborne Particle Counts

Airborne Particles

The methods used are accredited by UKAS to ISO / IEC 17025:2015.

In a clean room, the concentration of airborne particles should be controlled. ISO standard 14644-1 classifies clean rooms by the maximum number of particles permitted, at a range of particle sizes. In order to achieve the correct classification, air entering the clean room is usually controlled. The number of air changes required per minute is related to the room size and the number of personnel present.

We use a laser particle counter to perform the testing. Testing is carried out on site at regular intervals.

This test can only be carried out as part of a site visit. Please contact us to check if this testing is available in your area.
