Microbiology - Active Air Sampling

Image depicting Active Air Sampling.

Active Air Sampling is carried out in accordance with BS EN 17141:2020, Cleanrooms and associated controlled environments, Biocontamination control.

The methods used are accredited by UKAS to ISO / IEC 17025:2015.

An active air sampling device is used to collect viable particles onto an agar plate.

Risk areas are determined and the sampling device is used at each position.

The agar plates are taken to the laboratory and the amount of contamination per m3 in each area can be calculated.

This test can only be carried out as part of a site visit. Please contact us to check if this testing is available in your area.
